Whether your ambition is to perform, write, direct, produce, design, shoot or shape stories in post-production, RCA's Professional Certificate programmes are designed to turn creative interest into practical ability.
Each programme runs for 20 weeks and combines focused learning with practical exercises, industry insight and opportunities to work collaboratively.

Professional Certificate programmes accredited by the African University of Communications and Business (AUCB). Successful students receive a certificate bearing both RCA and AUCB.

A separate GHS 1,000 Production Fee applies to all Professional Certificate programmes, alongside the tuition shown above.

Although every student specialises in a particular discipline, filmmaking does not happen in isolation. RCA creates opportunities for students from different programmes to experience the collaborative nature of production and understand how their work connects with the work of other departments.
Screenwriting
A writer's script becomes a producer's project.
Producing
Producers develop and organise the project.
Directing
A director interprets it for the screen.
Acting
Actors bring its characters to life.
Cinematography
Cinematography gives it a visual language.
Art Direction
Art Direction creates its world.
Makeup, Hair & SFX
Character and physical reality are created.
Editing & Sound Design
The material is shaped into the finished film.
