RCA's Professional Certificate in Acting is a 20-week intensive programme designed to develop students as screen actors through practical training, emotional truth and real production experience.
This is a practical course. Students develop their craft through acting exercises, scene work, character development, rehearsal, acting for camera, film analysis and production.
This Professional Certificate programme is delivered by Revele Creative Academy and accredited by the African University of Communications and Business (AUCB). Students who successfully complete the programme receive a Professional Certificate bearing both RCA and AUCB.

Film Analysis
Examining screen performance and using observation and analysis to strengthen your own work.

Developing the ability to prepare and deliver auditions.

Acting cannot be learned from theory alone.
Students also use accessible tools including smartphones for self-taping and review, tripods, basic lighting, simple editing applications and AI tools for appropriate script and rehearsal support.

Your 5-Minute Film Project
Production is part of the learning experience. Acting students participate in a 5-minute film project, applying their training within a production environment and experiencing the relationship between the actor, director and wider filmmaking team.
The film project forms 35% of the Acting course assessment and provides material that can contribute to the student's performance portfolio and showreel.
