Filmmaking brings together many specialised crafts. Even within a single discipline, different areas of the work require different expertise.
RCA's teaching model allows a programme to draw on multiple industry professionals, with faculty members contributing to areas of the curriculum where their knowledge and professional experience are particularly relevant.
A student may learn from several practitioners during a 20-week programme rather than experiencing the entire discipline through the perspective of one lecturer.
This gives students access to a broader range of professional knowledge, working methods and industry perspectives throughout their training.
