Learn By Doing
Film and Television Are Practical Industries.
We believe their teaching should be practical too. At RCA, students don't simply learn about the creative industries. They write, perform, plan, design, shoot, edit, analyse and create.
Classroom learning is combined with practical exercises, workshops, film analysis, collaborative work and production experience.
The objective is simple
Learn the craft.
Practise the craft.
Create the work.
From the Classroom to the Film Set
Eight Disciplines Come Together in One Production Environment.
Writers create the stories.
Producers develop the projects.
Directors bring them to the screen.
Actors bring the characters to life.
Cinematographers create the images.
Art Directors build the visual world.
Hair, Makeup & SFX help transform character and appearance.
Editors and Sound Designers shape the final film.
Students experience what filmmaking actually demands: collaboration, preparation, problem-solving, creative judgement and professional responsibility.
